Today we took the Kindergarten and Elementary kiddos to Rita's Italian Ice to celebrate the first day of spring with FREE ice! Ironically, as we were standing in line, snow flurries were coming down. Hmmm...what is wrong with this picture?!! It wasn't exactly what I had in mind for the first day of spring, I can tell you that. Oh well!
Although it was rather chilly to eat Italian ice, I think the kids enjoyed it :)

I would LOVE a field trip to Rita's!!! Well, actually, I would love ANY trip to Rita's. I've put in a petition to the Canadian government to get them up here -- I miss it so much!!!
