This morning at school, the elementary & high school students watched some clips from Britain's Got Talent. We watched the most recent video featuring Susan Boyle first. (sorry, you'll have to click on the link to view it because I can't post the clip here...all the clips that I tried have been disabled!) There were some lessons for all the students to learn after watching that video clip. God has given everyone a special talent. We have so many talented students in our school and we want to see them use their talents for the Lord and not to be intimidated by what others think of them. Of course another lesson was - no matter what you may look like on the outside, its what is on the inside that matters. The Bible verse that comes to mind is..."man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart."
Another video clip we watched was of a cute 6 year-old girl named Connie. She was on Britain's Got Talent in 2007. It just amazed me to hear this sweet little girl's voice! I think "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" was running through my head the rest of the day. :)
