Why I Love Being a Kindergarten Teacher!

It's hard to believe that just a few months ago these four students were only learning the sounds of the alphabet. Now they can read books all by themselves! Every morning they break up into groups and take turns reading stories. Seriously, it is my favorite part of the day! I love watching them coach each other along, helping their friend when they get stuck on a challenging word.

It carries over in Sunday School too! Grace was helping Juliana read her verse on Sunday;).

Tonight in 4/5's I was teaching my lesson and I showed a picture of a man. My little intro was ruined because the kids read the name at the top of the sheet..."That's Paul!" several kids said as they continued to tell me how just how good they can read.
They're all growing up fast...I'm positive the last time I was in there none of them could read!! :o)
