Today we had a special treat because all 3 of my kiddos completed their homework papers for the month of April. As we licked our yummy chocolate fudge ice cream cones (yes, the teacher had to have one too!), one of my kiddos loudly declared, "This is the BEST day of my life!"
I think that is one of the reasons why I enjoy teaching young children. It doesn't take much to make them happy. They know how to take pleasure in the simple things.
