Prize Box, Show & Share V, and Roses!

Sunglasses were the hit in Prize box this week!

During movie time today, I tried to capture the beauty of these roses! 

Water Bead Fun!

On Wednesday we made water beads! We added the water and beads to the container and they began to slowly grow. On Friday when the girls arrived at school, they were thrilled to see how much they had grown! They are so slimy, fun and addicting to play with. :-)

Show & Share "P" Party

On Fridays the girls bring in items that start with a certain letter of the alphabet. This past Friday was the letter P. I told the girls they could bring in PJ's to wear in the afternoon. Well, that got them excited! :-) The whole day turned into a P party! 

• We practiced singing a verse in Proverbs.
• We read a Bible story about Paul.
• After lunch, the girls changed into PJs.
• We ate popsicles, pretzels and popcorn while watching a Winnie the Pooh movie.
• We played a game called Pop for Numbers.
• The girls practiced writing Ps with pencils on paper.
• In Social Studies, we met a new friend in Mexico named Pedro.
• We played with pink play dough.
• We played with Polly Pockets.

Is that enough P's for one day? :-) It was fun discovering how many things start with the letter P!!!!

Occupation Day!
